Soundbox functions as a player engine for all Soundbox Instruments and does not require a license key to be activated.
When using Soundbox as a player, all features are fully unlocked and functional—except for the Sample & Mapping Editor, which lets you import your own sounds.
To access the editor, you need to enter a license key that comes with the purchase of any Audiomodern Soundbox Instrument.
I don't have a license key. Can I use a Soundbox Instrument?
Yes. You can load any Soundbox pack without a license key, including third-party Soundbox Instruments.
Why do I need a license key for Soundbox?
To unlock the Sample & Mapping editor which allows you to import your own sounds. A license key is not required to load a Soundbox Instrument.
How can I receive a license key for Soundbox?
By purchasing any Soundbox Instrument, created by Audiomodern.
